Custom Prints

A virtual original artwork - these make a unique gift or memento to be treasured for all times by those who are lucky enough to receive.
As my artworks have been digitally photographed, most images are in a format which allows minor modifications to ‘personalise’ prints to suit club, school or personal colours. For example, blades, rowsuits, caps and sometimes even boat colours can be changed. Personal footers can also be incorporated at this time (i.e. XXX Women’s Eight – winner XXX 20XX) and include crew names, or sponsors details – you choose.

All requests must be reviewed in the context of the original image, as some colour combinations may significantly alter the contrast and effect of the original composition, and require additional tweaking to adjust the overall colour balance and effect. But I am happy to discuss this with you.

Process

Written custom requirements are confirmed back to the customer by email for approval, and then the image is adjusted as requested. Other compositional adjustments will be made at the same time and are at the discretion of the artist (see above). This process may take up to 10 days, depending on volume and variety of requests received, and will be communicated at the time of email confirmation.

A flat fee is charged for this ‘set up’ cost, and is chargeable for changes to blades, rowsuits, caps and limited boat colour changes.  More complex requests may be accommodated, and will be charged accordingly; this will be agreed with the customer before work starts.

An electronic proof is sent to the customer (at screen resolution, with watermark) by email for approval and comment. The setup fee allows for one review, and incorporation of one set of changes. The resulting image will be sent back for final approval, and printing will be ordered on receipt of approval from the customer. This can usually be turned around in 5 working days, but can only be confirmed after the order has been placed with the printer.

As printing will be in limited runs, there will also be a printing surcharge for each print (unless volumes exceed 49 prints).
